Financing
Financing on these vans can be a different situation, I must inform you that
right away. Even though they come directly from the factory and are ordered from
and delivered to a dealership, some national banks have a problem with adding the
conversion costs into the loan. The national banks may have guide lines set up by
their national boards, which limit the amount of money that can be lent for any
particular model of vehicle. Some times local branches can not deviate from these
guidelines and add in the cost of the conversion, leaving the additional cost up to
the customer to come up with on their own. I am not saying that your bank will
be like that, just that it is a possibility, but not a deal breaker.
I have made connections at some banks. I have explained the program
and the vehicles. I have the contacts for you to call at these banks and depending
on your location, I can refer you to the loan officers which can get the loan set up for
you so that the conversion is accepted as part of the original van loan. I do not
receive any commission on these referrals. I am merely informing you of
which banks I have knowledge of, that are willing to work with these vans.
I felt it was a good idea to get the vans "pre-approved" for the financing and have
some options available to you in the case that you did come up with the
loan hurdle mentioned above.
